Hi! My name is Kristen Zelasko and I was born and raised in Chicago. I went to the University of Ilinois where I majored in Media Studies and minored in English. I graduated this past May and became a Literacy*AmeriCorps member in September. Here in Florida I am a part of a Family Literacy program at Village Academy in Delray Beach. I tutor children in reading in the afternoon and teach an adult ESOL class at night. I love being able to experience working with both children and adults as both present different challenges and rewards.
